Sears DC clamp meter now $40

I saw that the sears DC clamp meter is now $40, looks like the 'regular' price. I use to get 10% off linking through Fatwallet.com. I'll check that out later, but though some of you who didn't get one for Christmas, might want to check it out. They may be changing brands or types of meters and closing this out.

Home system 4000 watt (Evergreen) array standing, with 2 Midnite Classic Lites,  Midnite E-panel, Magnum MS4024, Prosine 1800(now backup) and Exeltech 1100(former backup...lol), 660 ah 24v Forklift battery(now 10 years old). Off grid for 20 years (if I include 8 months on a bicycle).
- Assorted other systems, pieces and to many panels in the closet to not do more projects.

    Wow, that is a very good price. Typical is $60 and I have seen as low as $50 on sale.

    Just a Head's UP

    I just whipped over to Sears to get that meter. The model 82372 $39, only does DCV not AMP's...

    The 82369 has DCA, $59

    Yup, that's what the Sears site says. I went and bought one $39 #82372. Stuck in traffic, i decide to admire my toy, WTH, DCV no DCA.
    Turned around & returned it. Bought the #82369 $59.

    Sorry, the link clearly says "The Digital clamp-on ammeter measures AC/DC current up to 400 amps with 3.0 percent (VAC) accuracy without breaking the circuit." I'd ask them to full fill their ad... but I can be a jerk about such things, then again I have to drive 40 miles to get to Sears....

    It's not your fault, I read the same thing. I grabbed that MN##### and didn't look at spec's until I was on the road... No way were they going to let me have the #82369 for $39. Went back twice, showed them the online description... ""Description is incorrect"".
