and yes, these are *marine* batteries, that i know;)
also disregard the anl fuse on one string. :) waiting for blue sea terminal fuses.

    Um, it's out of focus?

    You've mounted a whole mess of electrical stuff on a chunk of diamond plate.

    The battery wiring looks pretty convoluted and appears to be 'laddered'.

    I believe that to meet code the batteries must be in a box, the cables must be in conduit. Also, the batteries cannot be under the equipment. --vtMaps

    Not sure code is an issue here, but am sure that the metal cases of the equipment is most likely grounded to (-) and then there's all those positive wires strung across that conductive metal plate. That's short-circuit city waiting to happen.
