Solar Films for Yacht Application

Options
Hello,

I am new to the forum and came here because I am working on a yacht production project, where we are looking to embed as much solar power into the boat, during the production stage, using newer lighter weight solar nano technology and thin film. Thoughts generally are that I could embed lighter weight films in the lesser used deck spaces, cabin tops, etc. Also noticed some window shading possibilities where we can use the solar film on the large windows and hatches to also reduce sunlight into the boat. Am looking for an expert in this field to help us as we design a new 50' Sailing Cat to be made in the USA with as much eco friendly power sources as possible.

I'd say tow a power raft. The mast and stays will generally, screw up the power production (shadows) without a complex (nightmare) wire mess, and heavily redundant controllers to harvest power from the 1 unshaded array.
