    Solar roof top GMC suburban, a normal 3/4 ton suburban with 180 watts of panels on the roof and 10 amp genasun MPPT, 2000w samlex pure sine wave inverter, 12v gast and ARB air compressors.

    New use for LED lights bother Canadian police. Grow-op owners are now using LED lighting instead of the older high intensity units they traditionally use, thus reducing their power consumption and lowering the heat given off by the house. But in the first such operation uncovered, police say the owner was still using 5 times as much power as the neighbors. :D

    Vehicles and LEDs got together like bread and butter.
    Yes they did, but I find the rapid turn-on of LED brake and turn signal lights to be a bit jarring.

    Soon get used to it, a lot of folks hated the high mounted brake lights when they first came out too, but the LED's do get your attention. I find myself using that instant on instant off characteristic as a tool to spot LED equipped vehicles :)

    I only notice it on vehicles when the 3rd light and the main brake lights use the opposite technology (one LED, the other incandescent).
