      I think he means interconnects for cells when building your own panels.

      Interesting piece on page 51 of the Oct/Nov issue of Home Power mag.
      Should be required reading for anyone considering building their own panels.

      IT DOESn't make financial sens to make your own panels when you can buy them for 50 cents a watt with ripped off junction boxes and spend about two hours each to fix them with a junction box. k

      interesting magazine though. do you recommend a subscription?

      Home Power is required reading (I would add Mother Earth to that list, too). They cover more topics than just PV/wind/hydro.

      especially when those .50 cent panels have odd Vmp so that you then negate your savings once you buy the required mppt controller

      you can get 50 cent panels with 35v vmp, :roll:
