Right now I have a 135 watt panel and 315 ah worth of agms, and I'm about to add another 135 panel and a 105 ah agm. This is a 12 volt system.

So I'll have 270watts of panel and 420 ah battery. Would there be any benefit in adding a morningstar 15 amp mppt charge controller? It says it is good for 200 watts, so is 270 too much?

Will it help charge better in winter/ and or on cloudy days? O should I just stick with the 25 amp moringstar which I currently have?

    Stick with the controller you have.

    But be sure the Vmax power of the new panel is close to the existing panel, which for a 12V PWM controller, should be about 18-19V.

    But I suggest caution about adding another battery, to existing batteries, unless they are only a few months old. You currently are under size for the amount of battery you have, adding yet more battery will not help. Adding more solar is the right thing.
