Real world PV comparison site

A chap on another forum pointed me to this really great comparison site for different PV panels:

http://www.dkasolarcentre.com.au/flash/processmap.html?d=0

From Alice Aprings down under.

They have a number of different panels some on trackers, some static with additional weather data that can all be graphed together. If you click on "The data" on the top right it takes you to the graphing software.

It's a pity you can't view specific weeks or days in the past. I'm trying to find weather conditions similar to the worst solar month here (December, lots of fog and cloud).

Those b4st4rds seem to have pretty great weather year round, so the closest I can find is their August - September. I was expecting the scrappy Kaneka's to make a good showing, but they actually did very badly. They really shine in summer though, but for my application extra production in summer is pretty useless.

Evergreens beat everything listed, except panels on trackers ( data is normalized ) looking at the data on the site

I would agree from what I have used ... and they are one of the lowest cost panels per watt thanks to the string ribbon technology

Mmmm, they don't seem to do that well compared to the other static panels. Looking at the warm months they're the 3rd worst and in the colder months they come in sixth.
