Small Fuel Cell

I ran across this today accidently when I was looking up some data on wire ampacity. I thought this was interesting. It is insanely expensive, but I still found it interesting.

Just wait till you need to buy a fuel cartridge. (non-refillable) And usually, the membrane only lasts a year after first startup.

Mike what is the problem? just throw away and get another. Gee they only cost$5000 ea its not like there expensive to replace and you get 180 w hr from each charge. Thats very good news.
You probably now find many people using them in multiples instead of ugly roof mounted solar cells.
Haha. Yes, for the millionaire who has everything else and is just looking for something novel to spend their money on. A real bargain... 25W fuel cells for only $5000!
One million four hundred thousand dollars for 7,000 watts. Just a tad over the 7K PV I'm about to install. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Wow, that's interesting. Comes to $200 per watt. What is it for photovoltaics now? 3$ per watt or less? But still, I'd love to own a fuel cell
