Anyone familiar with SunSaver Charge Controllers?

I received the 10 Amp version yesterday, installed it, and heard a mosquito-like whine. Is this normal operation? It seems to be working correctly, other than the annoying whine.

That's normal. What you're hearing is the PWM oscillation.

I honestly only notice if I'm standing at the charge controller during the peak of the day. Not an issue for me at all.

Thank you both for the confirmation. It isn't mentioned in the documentation that came with the unit, so I didn't think to look on the website either.
