Electroendosmosis 310.10

NEC 2011 section 310.10 Informational Note sites that electroendosmosis may occur in dc wiring between conductor and thermoplastic wire insulation (thwn-2) which is used from array jbox to inverter. Does anyone know whether it's wise to switch to a different conductor insulation type, like USE-2 or PVwire?
