According to the manual, page 41, a G+Y to Y+R means either the BTS has been removed or faulted or the remote battery sense has been removed or faulted
I would check your wire where they are secured in the controller ( terminal blocks )
You have to power cycle the controller to reset the fault -
Re: morningstar 45 amp mppt
Hi Thanks for your reply
G / R sequencing Y solid
im not sure it the bts or bvs but i will check wiring and try disconnecting both and switching the power off resetting & restarting the controller -
Re: morningstar 45 high battery voltage 55v
hi
I have removed both sensors but still im getting the same fault
What do you mean by power cycle?
I have also noticed that on the controller thats working correctly i get 12.5v battery volts, but on the faulty controller its showing 55v battery voltage i have tried resetting, turning the power off (battery & pv) but with no luck.
I have checked the battery voltage at the batteries and i get the same reading as the correctly operating controller gives 12.5.
Any help would be appreciated
Regards
