DC timer to turn a couple of lights on

I have been looking around for a friend of mine that needs to be able to turn a few lights on down in his shed, and they need to be on a timer, ac timers are everywhere but I can't locate any dc timers. Not sure if they even make them. Would someone know where he might be able to locate one.

And here is a more high-end timer (requires 12 vdc for timing, can control up to 240 VAC).

The other option (or in addition to a timer) could be a 12 VDC motion detector (say animals walking into a barn at night--motion detector on when stock moving in, timer to turn off after feeding time).

I have been using an intermatic timer I bought from Home Depot to switch all sorts of loads. It basically is an electronic timer that runs from the internal battery and flips a small latching relay on or off. It fits in a regular single gang wall box, but sticks out a bit. I even have one powering a 12v contactor that switches 30 amps at 240v. I haven’t had an issue with them yet...
