How and Where to get certified.

Hello all,

I am a liscenced electrical contractor located in Atlanta, GA US. I want to start selling and installing solar panels. I am wondering where and how I can get certification and or courses to do so.

    NABCEP PV certification is offered at Appalachian State University ( http://www.appstate.edu/ ), I just took the one that was offered in May for entry level certification....there were folks from as far away as Indiana there. It was a two weekend course....Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday all day.

    They have another coming up this fall......and there is a REAL good one day course in July ( 18th I think ) on PV and the NECode.....taught by the guy that writes the Code Corner in Home Power magazine, John Wiles.....probably worth your driving up for.
