Inverter THD

My inverter is on use last legs, XW4024.  Looking at a 4kw AIMS Power PICOGLF40W24V120V 24 Volt Low Frequency Pure Sine Inverter Charger  but it lists, 

• THD: <10% DC.  

Is that acceptable?  What is that exactly?

THD: <10% DC

To the best of my knowledge there is not THD with pure DC circuits. With that being said, I would be more concerned with Power Factor or Power Factor Corrected circuits being in the 95% or above range.

If the inverter you posted really has a THD of 10%, I would look elsewere.

The inverter I use (XWP) by Schneider "waveform" is rated at less than 5% THD at rated power output. Your out of production XW4024 should be similar but you should verify.
