Pressure switch for Grundfos 11 SQF-2 with CU200??

I can't be the only one....

I'm going to be installing an 11 SQF-2 pump and using a CU200 controller.  Input power will be 120 VAC from an inverter (off-grid system).

I want the pump to feed a conventional domestic pressure tank and have the pump controlled by a standard 40-60 psi pressure switch.

The CU200 has an input for a level switch - can I connect these Inputs to normal pressure switch like is used in typical pump setup?

Who else is using a pressure tank & switch with an SQF and CU200, and WHAT are you using?

I am running a Grunfos SQ 1/2 hp 10gpm pump into pressure tanks. It is a 120 volt pump with soft start. I have it wired just with a pressure switch. Don't know why you would need the cu200 controller.

If you are only going to be running the pump from 120 power you do not need the SQF.

Miller is right unless you need the adjustability of SQF with a controller.

I too use the 11 SQF-2 and have the CU200 and the IO101 to fill two 80g pressure tanks. Originally I thought the CU200 was necessary for the fancy capabilities of that pump. Nope. Just a standard well pump pressure switch is all I needed. So much simpler/less complexity and less to go wrong. The house inverter could care less about the small load from that pump.

There are important reasons to use the controller option. Since we do not know the requirements other than the OP wants a pressure switch,
it is pretty hard to give a decent response here. Basing this on hundreds of clients using both methods.
