Combox Missing Power

The power into my inverter does not equal the power out of my inverter, at least according to the Combox. I can get 2000 in from the grid and 4000 from the solar array, with a load of only 5000 -- Missing 1000W. I had this problem several years ago (2016?) and had quite a discussion on some blog, but in the end I solved it by purchasing a new Combox and SCP. If you have any suggestions for how to troubleshoot this problem short of buying new components which are discontinued, I would appreciate your input. (Yeah, I Know, update the firmware.)

Ganglefang. I have a “new in box” combox. I purchased this new a couple of years ago and never installed it.
