Why do I get a load reverberating noise and a spike in the reading on the inverter when load is decrease by something turning off.

Please advise

Just speculating here, the reverberation is likely related to the output frequency, the higher the loads the more pronounced, a spike, in voltage? , when the load is disconnected, would likely occur due to reaction time the inverter takes to adjust to a no, or low load condition.

    More details would be helpful.

Yes, there is a spike in voltage when this takes place and it is louder at times.
