Please Help My Engineering Group With A Quick 3 Question Survey

My group and I are in high school and are tasked with coming up with a design that can clean a solar panel. Our group has an early concept in mind but we can surely benefit from some suggestions from people who have cleaned their solar panels. It's only 3 questions but please be as specific as possible as we plan to incorporate suggestions into our final design.

There are many ways panel cleaning can go wrong,
if the water does not flow right the squeegee scratches the glass with grit. 
 You can't apply cold water to hot panels
You generally can't use soaps or high pressure (panel warranty issues)
