So I will ask all these very professional people another question. Have you ever replaced a windmill with solar panels and used those to pump water instead ? Connected directly to a brushless dc motor. ?
There are very few (zero that I know of) ways to combine just PV panels with a pump, to move household amounts of water.
Most systems require a MPPT control box or a Linear Current Booster (LCB) to provide stable power to the pump, and the system needs to be fairly closely matched. PV panels simply are too variable in their power output ( clouds and such ) to be able to drive anything other than a toy pump without some sort of control system (battery not required)
