PV array configuration with vfd

Dear folks I have 5.5 KW solar pump iverter (invt)   model no CHF100A. It's input voltage is 400v while I have 315watts 16 solar panels. Will these all panels be connected in series or half in parralal. Please guide. Thanks

    The panels could not be all used in series as that would exceed the 400V input maximum, 2 strings of 8 panels paralleled together would be in the 300-350V regon.

    What's really needed for more detailed answers are more details, inverter and motor to be driven specifications panel details would help somewhat.

    1500W, 6× Schutten 250W Poly panels , Schneider MPPT 60 150 CC, Schneider SW 2524 inverter, 400Ah LFP 24V nominal battery with Battery Bodyguard BMS 
    Second system 1890W  3 × 300W No name brand poly, 3×330 Sunsolar Poly panels, Morningstar TS 60 PWM controller, no name 2000W inverter 400Ah LFP 24V nominal battery with Daly BMS, used for water pumping and day time air conditioning.  
    5Kw Yanmar clone single cylinder air cooled diesel generator for rare emergency charging and welding.

    16 Panels 315 volts each.  Pump is 4HP, 380 volts 3 phase 7 amp while inverter is i put volt=400v, 10 to 15 A.  Inverter and pump plates are attached. Thanks

    According to the manual the input for the inverter is 380VAC 3 phase, there is no mention of using DC as an input although it may be possible since the inverter would rectify the AC input, but using the manual as a guide, there is no conformation.
