what is the difference between 2 poles and 1 pole DC circuit breaker ?, my knowledge of DC circuit breakers is limited so when I searched and found all different kinds of DC MCB, I got confused as for what to actually get. so can you guys explain to me the differences between 2p and 1p DC MCB (other than the price) ?

Basically a 2 pole will protect/switch both positive and negative. A single pole would protect/switch one leg, usually the positive in a system where negatives are commoned, such as in a combiner box, they are the most common type used. In some cases the voltage rating changes fom 1 pole 2,3 or 4pole when used in series or series parallel, but this is for use in voltage ranging 550V-1200V. Most people don't work with these voltages so single pole is used, what is the application?

It is OK to post a link to the breaker(s) that you have questions about...
