Hi,
I bought a 160 watt Grape solar monocrystalline panel to go with my Tracer 20A MPPT controller. I had planned to expand to 480 watts by adding 2 more 160 grape panels. Unfortunately Grape isn't making those at the moment. I did find a good deal on panels with specs that look very similar to mine (see below). I plan to wire in series to reduce losses between panels and controller / battery bank. Can you folks tell me if it will be okay to wire these in series?

Grape GS-S-160-Fab8
160W
Voltage at Maximum Power Point Vmpp   18.5 V
Current at Maximum Power Point Impp      8.65 A
Open Circuit Voltage Voc                           22.2 V
Short Circuit Current Isc                              9.46 A

Everbright Solar 165 Watt
Voltage at Maximum Power Point Vmpp   18.10 V
Current at Maximum Power Point Impp      9.12 A
Open Circuit Voltage Voc                            22.81 V
Short Circuit Current Isc                              9.58 A

Thanks in advance for your help!

Shouldn't be a problem. Your 165 watt panels will loose about 1/2 amp of charging power each as they will be operating at the 160 watt panels Imp.

2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.
