Re: Evergreen Panel Question?
You can harvest about 80% of your panel rating. (780W) x .8 = 625W
You can store that all week and run a micorwave oven for an hour, or run a small light forever. It all depends on your load you want to powerPowerfab top of pole PV mount | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

Re: Evergreen Panel Question?
Maybe 100 watts continuously if you had 1000 Amp-hours of battery, depending on... everything. -
Re: Evergreen Panel Question?
Just for comparison, we have ~200 watts of panels, and we use ~ 36 amp/ hours a day (12vdc) or about 450 watt hours, or 7.5 hours with ONE 60 watt bulb! 3 days without sun and we have to run the generator to keep the batteries above 80% soc.

Re: Evergreen Panel Question?
Assuming near Oakland CA---195watt x 4 off grid system with fixed mounts, optimum siting, assuming inverter AC output... Use this link, and for derating use 0.52 to account for flooded cell battery inverter losses:
1kW of panels (program does not go any smaller than 1kW):
80-100kWhr per month (summer)
50-60 kWhr per month (winter)
Multiply the above by 4x195w/1,000w (your panel size) and by 1/30 for daily power:
80-100=> 2-2.6 kWhr per day (summer)
50-60=> 1.3-1.5 kWhr per day (winter)
That is about $0.15 to $0.30 of electricity per day.
