Fork Lift traction batteries

The heavy traction batteries for fork lifts seem to be a good value for both capacity and life expectancy. There must be a downside. What might be the problems with something like a 12-85-13 traction battery for RE use (24v 804 AH and about 1100 lbs)

It's possible to get them split into two 12 volt batteries at about 600 pounds each, that makes them little easier to handle. -
