"On June 17, 2011, Power-One Renewable Energy Solutions LLC (“Power-One RES”) acquired the assets of National Semiconductor’s SolarMagic monitoring business."

This was the DC-DC micro-inverters where each panel individually fed high voltage DC output to a central inverter.

In July, Power-One introduced a new 300 watt micro-inverter with GT interface similar to Enphase micro-inverter. They have addressed the concern over Enphase's electrolytic capacitors long term reliability by moving bulk energy storage to high voltage DC within micro-inverter, using high voltage non-electrolytic capacitors.

The Power-One micro-inverter system also includes Zigbee short range wireless RF data links providing performance data on each micro-inverter.
