If you feel the base is secure and the panels can be joined safely AND the additional hight won't leverage the lower panel off, its ok with me.  ( What state do you drive in ? )

  Please be careful, the MC4 connectors have a very thin gold plate and will be damaged if the contacts are mated/de-mated while the panels are illuminated

  So, that 6kw inverter, will it be on a manual switch? or sitting idle for 23 hours a day waiting for a pressure switch to activate the pump?
