Hi, I do have 2 QS1s doing AC coupled charging on my system... I am also using DC charging and allow it control my 3 stage charging on 48V lithium-ion batteris (14 cel) I have the output of my Inverter/charger shutting down the AC coupled charging when it gets to within a volt of the top...
also have a separate PLC based monitor that is able to disconnect the AC coupling if something goes wrong... ie overvoltage/overcurrent
so far so good...
The QS1s are able to do a number of different UL profiles for grid tie... if you are off grid you can also play with a number of freq/W or V/W settings... have limited info on that as I am using the DC side to control topping up the batteries... probably not the most efficient but in my case is working for me...
