Well i fired it up today.Getting 14.1VDC at a wopping peeked so far 8amps,yippy.Well anyhow it got room for expansion when funds will allow.It's been a good experience for me.

One 135 Watt Kyocera Panel
Monrningstar 30 Amp Meter Charger
Battery Meters
1000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter
4 6 Volt Golf Cart Batteries in series and parralled

    Not bad, not bad! About 83% of panel rating. :D

    I hope you have a charger to pick up the 'slack' on those batteries: that 8 Amps is about 1/3 what they need.

    If you have a solar pyrometer on that weather station, I would be curious how your output power tracks the watts/sq meter that the weather station would report.

    Yes i do once a week i have an Iota 50,run for a day on them.I plan on three more panels down the road.Budget was cut :(

    i can't see the inverted delta in the pics so it must be up higher. i did think you had a solid 43ft vertical going by the base-plate, but hustlers are good too as it skips the need for a tuner for the majority of the bands covered with the 75/80mtr exception.
    being you have both a vertical and i assume a horizontal loop, could you pm me on the noise differences as well as other observations between the two as i don't want to detract from your solar install?
