They are all flimsy and apt to break. Except the plastic ones which are just plain no good.

Look for one with a fine scale on it. There's a company called Freas which makes a ridiculously fine scaled version: 1.250 to 1.275 in 0.002 increments. This is 'overkill' in my opinion.

There's also a type with built-in temp compensation, sometimes called a "thermohydrometer".

Should give you some idea what to look for (although that site is short on specs). You ought to be able to find one locally and for reasonable money.

Oh; don't ask for a "hygrometer" or you'll get a device for measuring ambient humidity.
