Anyone familiar with Canadian Solar panels

Hi All

An installer I'm thinking about using is now suggesting that we go with Canadian Solar solar panels, which are actually made in China. They are switching over from Evergreen. While Evergreen seems to have a decent product, the company itself seems to be a bit shaky..which made me a bit concerned even before they suggested the switch.

Would appreciate an information on Canadian Solar solar panels. Would be using the 230W.

Why do you think Evergreen is "shaky"?

As opposed to "Canadian Solar Panels" which I can't even find a web site for and is made in China, well known for its high-quality merchandise.

I'm thinking your installer is going for something cheap he can make a bigger profit on.
Stick with a quality brand like Kyocera, Sharp, et cetera. Even Evergreen.

I don't see where Evergreen is any more shaky than a dozen or so other solar panel manufacturers.

But then again, I see very few that are doing good, and expect that about 1/3 of them will go under (or most likely be sold) within the next couple of years.

Based on finanacials, CSIQ is better off than Evergreen, but almost no solar manufacturers are doing really well.
