    Very interesting indeed! Sounds promising, but we'll have to wait ...

    And now I'm wondering about lead-acid batteries in electric cars; do they have 3-stage recharging and something to monitor cycling and trigger an EQ? Although the thought of being stopped from going to work one morning because your car is equalizing its batteries for the next hour ... :p

    Don't know about lead acid--but the typical hybrid runs their NiMH packs at something like 40-60% of capacity for long(er) life.
