Solar-Electric System Design & Installation Course
Location: NorthWoods Stewardship Center, East Charleston, VT
Dates: May 11-16, 2009
This comprehensive 6-day course begins with the basics of photovoltaics (PV) and incrementally accelerates students to safely design and install a code compliant solar-electric system. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in grid-tied, grid-tied with battery backup, and stand-alone systems. Classroom content is balanced with plenty of hands-on practice, culminating with the installation of a new grid-tied PV system. Instructors are NABCEP-certified installers with over 25 years of experience installing and teaching about solar and other renewable energy systems.
