I have a outback 2812 inverter/charger on a 800 amp hour battery storage and the batteries are brand new so i wanted to find out the best way to calculate the proper set points with absorption, float, refloat and equalization charge ?

Re: outback inverter charger setpoints
i'm not personally familiar with setting the inverter itself, but when it comes to charging batteries the make and model of the battery(s) is/are important as it does vary somewhat. it is generally the battery manufacturer that dictates what these settings should be for their battery(s).
a battery temperature sensor is also advised if that inverter does accommodate one and i think i remember it does. this helps track the battery charge voltage needs when other than the ideal 25 degree c.
