"Solar assisted climate control"? You can buy that at Canadian Tire: solar powered window vent fan. *LOL* It does not appear the solar roof panel is connected to the drive batteries.

Sounds a lot like all the previous hyped automotive 'breakthroughs': they've built one or two, and you'll never see any production. Auto trade magazines rarely say a negative word about anything as they're too afraid of losing potential advertisers.

"We will provide additional details regarding battery chemistry as we get closer to production." - from Aptera's FAQs. A lot of their answers to questions are like this. The "we won't know where we are 'til we get there" sort.

The body design looks about as practical as a square wheel. No one should buy anything without knowing the final price first, and a $20,000 spread is pretty wide.

When there's a dealer lot full of these near you, go and make your evaluation then.;)

    Bring back the Isetta! :D

I think the only thing right now with more hype than "do it yourself" solar, (usually fake) "green", and solar cars is ShamWow.

And about as believable unless you are that $30,000,000 mouse...
