sharp or kyocera?

for polycristalline type panels in the 80ish watt range, would kyoera or sharp be the better choice out of the two and why?

    I don't have any good answers for you... There is a thread/comment on another forum (Solar Guppy's, who also posts here) where he has a question about how thin Sharp slices their silicon wafers and if that will affect their long term life.

    Kyocera had some problems back around 2000-2001--but they stood by their warranty and replaced any failures (sometimes, whole arrays).

    WindSun (NAWS, our host here) sells both--so they may have some opinion too (NAWS stands by by their products too).
