Can I use the Morningstar Sunsaver controller, non mppt, with the 24v Breeze to charge a 12 volt Battery. It says it can take up to 36 v and charge either a 12 or 24 but it is designed for solar...??? Any suggestions on using a 24v wind turbine to charge 12 v../?? thanks

Re: using Sunsaver controller with Air Breeze
by what you say it sounds as if you could, but that would be a waste of power just as if you were to run a 24v pv into that controller for a 12v battery would be a waste of power. -
Re: using Sunsaver controller with Air Breeze
You could, but you would only get about 1/2 power since the amperage would be half of what the 12 volt model puts out. -

Ever seen the wiring in the Breeze..?? could you buy a 24 and rewire the ends to 12 temporarily ..??
