Steel Roof Reflection

I was asked about reflection off of a barn steel roof and its affect upon solar panels that will be placed nearby. Any chance the reflection will affect panel proficiency? Advise. Thanks.

    if the reflected light hits the pvs, production will increase. you will have to keep in mind that if the pvs are getting up to double the exposure during warm months that this is detrimental to the life of the pvs as they are getting super heated. if the extra exposure is during the cooler winter months you might get away with it without the extra lifespan degradation.
