The XW is being discontinued, but currently on sale at  https://www.solar-electric.com/  for less than a thousand dollars with thier 10% discount code until the 5th of December.

In my opinion it is still one of the very best off-grid inverters.

With this pricing its time to maybe think about picking up a spare.

Pulse and Boost are discontinued. Schneider is effectively sunsetting the XW ecosystem. XW Pro is still supported for now, but no major new development is coming. Long term focus has shifted to commercial and grid scale, not off grid DIY.

If you already own XW gear, it is still solid and serviceable. If you are planning a new build or major expansion, it is safer to look at platforms with an active roadmap and battery support going forward.

What's the downside to building a new system with an XW Pro?   I would think that Schneider is a big enuf company to honor the 10 y warranty

The downside would be that there are no more Schneider charge controllers for sale, basically out of stock in every location that I am aware of.
But you can still use other charge controllers with the XW-Pro, just no data within in the Schneider environment when using a CC from another manufacturer.

Still in the NAZ store at $1100.00 and with a 6% discount until the 13th I believe.
