Configuring grid power to my standalone XW6048

I have had a standalone system using the XW4068 for many years now. I have now wired in grid power to the AC1 connection.  On energizing it worked as expected to help charge the batteries to where both it and the PV source went into float. During this charge the batteries were being charged by both PV solar and the grid and the house loads were being handled by the grid AC1.  So far so good.  But the issue is once finished charging and the sun went down AC1 grid power never released it's supply to the house loads.  Zero draw from the batteries.  What I want is for the batteries to be running the loads, not the grid.  I think I must be missing a configuration setting but after trying a number of changes the problem persists.  I think it might have something to do with the Grid Support setting but I'm not sure where to go from here.

you have to wait a few or more minutes for the change, it will ramp slowly.

Ya, I'm going to run AC1 tomorrow and keep a log of the readouts for Battery amps & volts, Load watts, AC1 watts, and PV input.  I think if I do it over a few hours that will settle what the system wants to do.  The manual says on Grid Support I should run Grid Support on and all sell setting zeroed out.  We'll see.
