Does anybody know why their site has been down all day, I know they've been extremely slow the last month or so i wonder if they just shut it off?

I hear you Dave. It's sad when these forums go days in between postings. You know the one that's getting all the attention is the DIY solar power forum. They were active 24 hours a day worldwide. by active i mean posting's coming in minutes apart constantly.

July 1st all of the battery based Schneider is discontinued. At least Schneider managed it well and gave huge discounts. Hopefully they will keep Insight up for the next 10 years. They say they will...

Outback has been a dumpster fire in progress. Optics sometimes works, there are no stocked replacements. The forum is useless.

Have to start stocking old SW 4024's like you use 😉

It's amazing how 25-year-old units are still selling for big bucks. I keep my own personal backup here, although I doubt I'll ever need it. When I put mine in it was 15 years old and still in the sealed factory box.

What is amazing to me is the store here was selling XWP for $ 900.  Probably the best split phase inverter charger ever made IMHO.  Never seen a deep well pump it would not start. Discontinued tomorrow...

Yeah Dave it's a real shame that  they are walking away from their off-grid Department

Totally walking away ! The new Home unit does not have a gen input, is 400v battery, and  they recommend you buy a generator if you think you could lose the grid in bad solar weather. Like a hurricane in Florida or a bad winter storm, like Texas 4 years ago.

They are still giving the 10 year warranty on XWP and so that is a feather compared to Outback running a great company into a wall at 90 knots.

Happy 249th !  Now that is a feather in the cap!
