All, I am looking to increase my water flow rate for my off grid cabin. I have a SFDP1-070-060-53 Seaflo pump which is a draws 10 Amps, with a max of 24 Amps on 12V. I would like to step down from my 24V system to 12V to run this critter. Any experience on converting 24 to 12 for this application and recommendations for a converter? It won’t run terribly much, so conversion efficiencies shouldn’t be a big factor.

I have a 48 to 12volt converter by Analytic Systems. Works well. Not sure how many different combinations they make, but I'll bet a lot. Mine is just for 12 volt fans, chargers and a satellite actuator moving 4 panel array.

24A is a start or stall current. A 15A converter should do.

Appreciate the help!
