Magnum AGS

I’m connecting a Magnum AGS to EF6300 Yamaha. It starts the generator but it runs at full throttle and won’t produce AC. When I disconnect the generator start switch from the AGS and turn the key the generator runs normally.

    Sounds like the ags only starts the engine, the key turns on the voltage control and safety control systems.
