My indecision and my add is killing me.
Im installing the 12 panels on a roof.  The roof is 104 feet from the circuit breaker panel.
I cant decide where to put the inverter; close to the panels or close to the circuit breaker panel.

Panels Q-cell 340 watt
Inverter   SolarEdge SE3000A-US-U

Any help is appreciated

Can you tell us a bit more about the solar panel input requirements for the GT inverter? This model?

    https://www.solarflexion.com/product-p/se3000a-us-u.htm

The 240 VAC version says that the nominal solar panel input is 350 VDC, and 500 VDC maximum...

How did you divide up the 12 panels? I don't see an easy way (6 series x 2 parallel, vs 12 series--Not sure that either meet the input requirements--I did not plow through the GT inverter manual).

From one point of view, 350 VDC is higher voltage than 240 VAC--So, less voltage drop, less current for the DC power run...

Safety wise, 240 VAC is a bit "safer" than DC. Do you need a DC shutdown for the array for your building/NEC rules?
