Automatic air vents in attic to replace plumbing roof vent

I am wondering if anyone has tried this. Looks very feasible to do rather than reventing.

I put one on a garage sink sewer line (probably a bit too far from the sink)... It works.

However, like everything these days there is a law (code) about this stuff:

One typical issue with venting are kitchen islands with sinks. Obviously you don't want a vent stack going up from your island to the ceiling.

My in-laws have a "island" like sink and no direct vent stack (inverted U system). It works OK, but after decades (sink with garbage disposal/etc.), sludge and slime did build up in the piping (brother-in-law had to replace the piping when leaks started--just followed the existing design--and I had to snake out the system at times (sewer continues to a wet bar sink 20 feet away).

I would just pop the vent out the roof and be done with it.
I would only use a auto vent if there was no other option.

    Thanks
My AHJ is a stickler so maybe no AAV. How about cutting the vent pipe down to about 3" above roof and a few inches below the array. I really don't want to checkerboard the array or add the expense to the customer to move the vent.

In my area the vent pipes need to exit the roof with 3” pipe minimum and 18” off the roof . It’s no big thing to move the vent up to the ridge on the inside and pop out above the array .
40 bucks and a hour of time it seams like a no brainer

My pipe was moved over 6’ so it did not cast a shadow on the panels  this pick was on the shorts day of the year.
