    why does my conext  mppt 60 150 charge controller keep reducing incoming current after 8-10 hours of use? voltmeter reads 60 volts, coming in, controller reads 26. after i turn controller off and on again (using breakers) it reads and works perfectly, for 8-10 hours before i have to do it all over again. 24 volt system, 450 ah of storage, schneider conext inverter. baffled....

    You really should start your own thread. This thread is just getting started and your questions will only cloud the waters.

    2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

    lbw, I have moved your question to its own thread/discussion.

    Is the battery bus voltage "stable" at 26.0 volts, or does it start lower and then increase to something like 29.x volts?

    lbw, Also, how you are you powering your Conext? Is this 8-10 hours of use over several days, or just on the same day (raises the question of 10 hours of full solar power from array--Not very  common as sun rises and sets--Limiting solar array output in morning/evening)?

    Bill, you probably know where the OP is. We start getting useable power here at just before 7am and well past 7pm this time of year.

    It could be that the battery is full and the cc is reducing current because it is at the set-point? By turning off the breaker he is restarting the charge cycle. If he comes back, he should fill in some more data. Where, when, how, why, etc

    Question was probably posted from a cell phone--Cellphone ISP do not seem to have very good/stable regional locations via IP Address lookups... Possibly in the Boston (or NJ) area.

    I'm in NW, Ontario on cell hotspot, IP locators usually seem to put me in Montreal, a couple days drive east.
    Off-grid.
