SMA rapid shut down system

I need to install a SMA rapid shut down system between my panels and my inverter. I don't like the idea of putting it under my last panel in the array. Wondering if I could put it closer to my inverter and still be in NEC compliance.

if on a house 5 feet
if on external structure 10 feet according to above

Thanks that's the article I was looking for. So 10' on the roof is as far as I can go. It seems there are some problems with this unit as I saw a few youtube videos on it and didn't want to be pulling off panels just to take readings on the array. Not in the LAHJ area but hope for that kind of guy to inspect LOL..
