KID wiring

When you wire a controller like the KID the lugs are inside the box and hard to see. So bringing small pigtails out of the case and onto a multi connection block next to the unit seems like a good idea.If you use 10 awg copper for wire would it matter if the multi connection block was aluminum
or AL alloy?

I think it should be okay as long as the block connections are substantial.. Seems to me the buss bars in my e-panels are AL. Be sure to retorque the connection after ~ a day though, and fuse/breaker for the 10awg. All IMHO though. Local codes might say otherwise.Off-grid.
