XW6048 SMD component Identification

Good evening all;

These components are on a XW6048 control board that was killed by a shorted networking board of all things. As you all probably know Schneider support is useless. Every board is $1000.00, and that's all they will sell you.

Need help finding out what these are, and Digikey is stumped.

This Diode blew, and I have no Idea if it's a Zener or its value.

This is its placement on the board.

These I believe supply the Vcc on the Fet driver.

Schneider posted and gave warning about 7 years ago notice that the old grey box XW's no longer are supported due to lack of suppliers. The XW+ was its replacement and there are several shops that can work on the old product. This is a fairly common thing in the electronics industry when components go obsolete or are no longer made.

yes he is dead in the water either way if the micro got killed.

iirc those were eol 5 years or more back.

so even with the firmware dump i have and my ability to program a new one the chip is extinct.

with a bit of luck its all small stuff as op showed.

when i did service on a bunch of these the only boards that got replaced were torched by lightning.

once you understand them they are easy to repair.

Hi KC,

The lightning and the grid both have there modes of failure. Lack of proper surge protection or just leaving the inverter on during lightning. It is not that hard to shut down for 15 minutes until the strikes move more than 4 seconds away.

Good advice and are you still working on Schneider repairs? Nice to have service people who can go component when needed. A rare breed these days.
