Has anyone used OPzV tubular plate sealed gel 20 year 2 volt cells in off grid solar? I have been using same for many years ( 12 so far) and they still seem to work perfectly. Why don’t more off grid systems use them. I found out about them by reading a Batcon white paper.

    What do you do for charging (only solar, possibly genset in winter)?

    What charging and float voltages do you use? And what do you set your Absorb time for?

    (Roughly) where is the system located? Get lots of sun? Temperature extremes?
