    Can you tell us a bit more about your needs? The number and type of solar panels you want to install? The voltage and AH rating of your battery bank bank? How far from the solar array to the charge controller+battery bank shed?

    Are you asking for the names and prices of two different controllers? There really isn't a best AND cheapest MPPT controller.

    2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

    The cheapest real mppt I've found is epever. Been using a 30 amp on my rv around a year now with no issues  $100.
    2kw array 6 345 q cells  make sky blue 60 cc
     6 230ah GC @36 volts 
    18 amp accusense charger. 3650 champion
